The LA City/County Native American Indian Commission (LANAIC) was established in 1976 through a joint effort by the Los Angeles Native American community, and LA city and LA county governments. Please join us on Monday, October 12, 2026, at The Huntington to celebrate 50 years of the LANAIC!  

Past and present commissioners, community members and historians will share archives and stories around the Commission's founding, its accomplishments, and reflect on its future.
