Community Services American Indian Block Grant (CSAIBG)

Pukúu Cultural Community Services (Pukúu) is the County of Los Angeles’ current Community Services Block Grant Native American Set-aside (CSAIBG) service provider. 

Pukúu provides CSAIBG funded services through their One Stop Emergency Services (OSES) Program.

Eligibility Criteria

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) determines the criteria for CSAIBG Program eligibility.

CSAIBG services are targeted to AIAN individuals/families. However, they are not exclusive and thus do not require that clients are AIAN or show proof of tribal citizenship. 

Income Eligibility Requirement: 

Los Angeles County Individuals/families must live at 200% FPL or below to be eligible for CSAIBG services unless amended by the Federal Government. 

Los Angeles County Individuals/families may receive the following services through Pukúu's OSES program:

  • Residence Assistance Payment
  • Utilities Assistance Payments
  • Utilities Arrears Payments
  • Nutrition/Fold Assistance
  • Hygiene Kits/Boxes
  • Transportation Assistance
  • Clothing Assistance
