Description

This internship offers hands-on experience in producing, with a primary focus on our Summer Contemporary Dance Festival. Interns will also be part of our live music and new works salon series and day-to-day operations offering a complete picture of how a theatre runs. They will collaborate directly with our dance curator, stage manager, and lighting designer, gaining practical insight into every stage of the process.  The position is approximately 30-40 hours per week, running from June 1 through September 1.
 

Qualifications

A genuine passion for learning and growth. Curiosity and enthusiasm for bold, adventurous theatre projects. Strong social and collaborative skills. A team-oriented mindset and willingness to jump in where needed. Basic familiarity with theatre tech—lighting, sound, or set construction is a plus.
 

Background

The Odyssey is a vibrant, artist-run theatre that produces 4–5 mainstage shows each year, along with a contemporary dance and physical theatre festival, plus a live music and new works salon series.
