Description

The P.S. ARTS Communications Intern will work across the organization’s departments to help support our marketing and communication efforts. The intern will assist the Associate Director, Communications with conceptualizing and producing campaigns, updating and organizing collateral, creating media and web content, managing digital content and other marketing assets, as well as strategize ideas for further audience reach with the Communications team. Intern will work 15 to 20 hours a week from June 2026 to February 2027.

Qualifications

The intern should be highly motivated, self-directed, and demonstrate a strong interest in arts education, communications, and nonprofit administration. Strong organizational skills, as well as written and oral communication skills, are a must. Proficient knowledge of Mac operating systems is neceessary, as well as familiarity with social media marketing tools and the Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, andIllustrator). The ideal intern will have the ability to create compelling content for both print and digital platforms, manage a variety of projects, and contribute to the efforts of the organization.
