The Artistic Programs Intern will support the administration, coordination, and production of the Armed With a Camera Conference (AWC Con) in September 2026. AWC Con will be a two-day convening of Armed With A Camera (AWC) alumni inclusive of paneling, events, and programming intended to generate creative relationship and community building opportunities. The Intern will also assist with administrative, programmatic, and coordinative duties for VC’s Artist Development and Exhibition Programs, including the Armed With a Camera Fellowship for Emerging Media Artists and the Digital Histories media production and storytelling program for older adults. Under the supervision of the Executive Director and Managing Director, the Artist Programs Intern will work approximately 24-32 hours a week from June through September 2026.
Visual Communications is seeking an Artistic Programs Intern with strong organizational capabilities and abilities to balance multiple tasks and work independently and effectively within a given time frame. Experience with events and productions are a plus. We value developing emerging artistic and cultural workers with excellent communications skills and desire to be part of a team.
