Description

The Special Events Intern will work closely with the Development Department on event planning and execution with a focus on stewardship for high level donors, focusing on The Wallis' annual gala, as well as a variety of receptions, luncheons and salons throughout the artistic season. The intern may also have the chance to contribute to external rental events which, in the past, have included Vanity Fair’s Oscars Party, Style Magazine’s launch party, screening parties for a variety of organizations, and many more. This position will work approximatly 30 hours a week from August to December.
 

Qualifications

-Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite -Creative – some design experience strongly preferred -Detail-oriented -Some live production experience is a plus; many events include an element of live performance -Strong written and verbal communication skills
