Qualifications

Ideal applicants would have an interest in nonprofit arts,  and theatre is a plus. Applicants must have reliable transportation, and be enrolled in college.   We’re looking for interns who are open-minded to all perspectives and points of view;  flexible; possess a growth-learning mindset, empathy, and an eye towards personal evolution.   Theatre is a living breathing organism that teaches us about ourselves and our world and exposes inequities. We are looking to hire someone ready to engage with the realities of the world and how we’re implicated in creating our shared communities.   We are looking for curious and resilient individuals ready to take on the adventure of live theatre with us at West Valley Playhouse.

Background

West Valley Playhouse is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization that is specifically dedicated to bringing quality live theatre to the people of the West San Fernando Valley. The group is committed to performing the commercial successes of Broadway, as well as lesser-known works that represent the best of our theatrical heritage.
