The Autry is a museum dedicated to bringing together the stories of all peoples of the American West, connecting the past with the present to inspire our shared future.
Located in beautiful Griffith Park, the Autry features unique galleries filled with paintings, sculptures, film memorabilia, photographs, historic firearms and so much more, all related to the American West. The Autry’s more than 600,000 pieces of art and cultural objects include one of the largest and most significant collections of Native American materials in the United States.

The exhibition explores in Native Art explores meanings embedded in three aspects of Native culture: Knowing, Create, and Transference.
Future Imaginaries: Indigenous Art, Fashion, Technology.
The exhibition explores the rise of Futurism in contemporary Indigenous art as a means of enduring colonial trauma, creating alternative futures and advocating for Indigenous technologies in a more inclusive present and sustainable future.

The Autry is located across from the L.A. Zoo at the junction of the I-5 and 134 freeways.
Take the Metro Local Line 296 to the Autry stop (if headed north/from Union Station) or to the L.A. Zoo stop (if headed south/from Burbank). Plan your best route using the Trip Planner on metro.net.
Large bags (more than 13 x 12 x 4 inches) of any type are not permitted.
We do not have lockers; any oversized baggage will need to be stored in your vehicle or at home.
