CDI's development and education intern will research funding opportunities, create proposals, and track grant applications. They will assist with other administrative projects like data collection and social media management.The intern can also visit school site(s) where CDI programming takes place, participate in classes, and see firsthand the programs their work supports, receiving training in CDI's award-winning methodology. This position will work 16-17 hours a week from September 2025 to February 2026.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Drive Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management and prioritization skills Self-directed; energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas Comfortable as a team player Able to maintain confidential information Organized Bilingual (Spanish/English or Armenian/English) is a plus A friendly, can-do approach, excited to learn about the inner workings of a small arts education nonprofit Loves to be around children
California Dance Institute (CDI) is an in-school and after-school non-profit arts education program that teaches life and learning skills through dance and music.
