We are seeking a Comedy Production Intern to help our team facilitate our arts programming and help us produce live comedy performances. The Comedy Production Intern is a part-time position of 15-20 hours a week. This position will begin in June 2025 and continue through August of 2025. This internship involves customer service, public speaking, stage design and production, and creative writing.
A successful Comedy Production Intern will have the following skills and/or professional development interests - Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills - Enjoys interacting with the public, and students of all ages. - Ability to work collaboratively, and independently. - Attention to detail and strong time management skills. - Leadership skills, comfort, and willingness to work with students aged 8-17. - The ability to think creatively. Live comedy and storytelling performances can be unpredictable. To produce successful shows, staff are required to work closely together and maintain characteristics of patience and flexibility to handle the fast-paced environment of a live comedy production.
