Faith Purvey

About

Faith Purvey is drawn to human practice, connectedness and ethereal imagery. Her projects address issues of habitation, urban infrastructure, transience and nature, often employing collaborative sculpture-building processes with youth, civic and community leaders and artists. Purvey received her MFA in Public Practice from Otis College of Art and Design and BS in Art from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. She is the recipient of the Santa Fe Institute Residency and a Creative Capacity Fund Grant from the Center of Cultural Innovation.
