The Intern will collaborate with JUiCE leadership and artist-facilitators to activate the community through its various artistic elements of hip-hop. The intern will experience the inner workings of a small community-based nonprofit and facilitate programs, performances and events. The intern will also be responsible for spearheading at least one project to be offered to participants. This position will work approximately 15 hours a week from September through February.
As a J.U.i.C.E. intern, you’ll work closely with leadership and artist-facilitators to bring hip-hop’s artistic elements to the community, gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit arts programming. You’ll help run programs, performances, and events while also leading your own project. This position requires a 15-hour weekly commitment from September through February, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to and make a meaningful impact within a creative community.
J.U.i.C.E. is a hip-hop arts collective. We provide a safe center to develop a sense of community and provide a place for self-expression through music, visual arts and dance.
