This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit event planning, specifically supporting Elemental Music's annual gala, which funds music education programs for young musicians. As an intern, you'll gain valuable skills in fundraising, event planning and coordination, marketing, and donor engagement, all while helping to showcase and support the arts. Ideal for students interested in learning about arts administration, event management, or nonprofit work in a highly collaborative and supportive environment. This position will work approximately 15 hours a week from September through mid-February.
Strong organizational skills Strong verbal communication skills Experience in social media marketing is preferred but not required Experience with some graphic design, or willingness to learn the Canva platform Strong writing skills, capable of concise and persuasive writing Ability to lift 10–15 pounds and pass a live scan screening, if needed.
