SOL-LA Music Academy, a community music school based in Santa Monica, is seeking a Development Intern. The Development Intern will work directly with SOL-LA’s Artistic and Interim Executive Director to create a fundraising plan. The intern will work 15-20 hours per week from September through February. The Development Intern will learn about fundraising by assisting our team with donor database management, planning and executing a fundraising event, and planning and executing a fundraising campaign.
The intern we are seeking has a passion for music education, and an interest in learning about fundraising, development, and/or grant writing. The intern will have an excellent attention to detail, strong writing skills and proofreading skills, research skills, and excellent organizational skills. The intern will also require a working knowledge of Office 365 and the ability to work with Adobe Creative Suite.
