Arts Internship Program

NOTE: The deadline for organizations to apply for the 2018 LA County Arts Internship Program has passed. Information remains on this page for reference only. Applications for the summer of 2019 will open in the fall of 2018.

What's New

As of August 31, 2017, the LA County Arts Commission transitioned from the online GO Grants system to Fluid Review. The new grant portal provides a more streamlined and user-friendly experience. However, applicant organizations will now submit a unique application for each internship position they are requesting. We strongly recommend doing the following before you begin your application:

  1. Make sure that your organization's profile with Fluid Review is set up. All organizations with active accounts in the previous GO system have accounts in Fluid Review already. Read this important information about what that means.
  2. Review our Arts Internship Grant Program Application Set-Up Guide.

You may also review sample application questions. Do not forget to review the full Program Guidelines before applying.

Applicant organizations must submit applications and support materials electronically. To get started, please visit lacountyarts.org/apply.

This information only applies to organizations applying to host interns. Students interested in applying for the 2018 Arts Internship Program should apply directly to the organizations they are interested in when the full list of positions become available at the end of March 2018.

Application Workshops And Office Hours

The Arts Commission holdings in-person and virtual application workshops, as well as open office hours to assist first time applicants and allow returning applicants to ask questions about guideline changes. First time applications are strongly encouraged to attend an application workshop.

There are currently no planned workshops.
