Join us as Director and researcher Dr. Zannie Voss takes a deep dive look at the landscape of the Los Angeles arts and cultural sector pre-pandemic and the early impact of COVID-19. We’ll discuss the overall health of arts and cultural organizations within Los Angeles, what we know so far, and what remains to be seen. You will also learn about recent changes to the Cultural Data Profile to streamline data entry and discuss the analysis and benchmarking tools you can use once your data is entered.

This webinar is produced in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture, and co-hosted by the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture, the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, and the municipal local arts agencies of the cities of Pasadena, West Hollywood, Culver City, Santa Clarita, Santa Monica, Torrance, and the City of Long Beach through the Long Beach Arts Council.

On April 14, 2021, we collaborated with the Department of Public Health on the Arts and Culture Forum: Reopening the Arts. The event featured a presentation by LA County Health Officer Dr. Muntu Davis, a Q&A with Dr. Emily Beeler (liaison for the Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 Response Team) on reopening guidance and protocols, a conversation with LA County nonprofit leaders, and a presentation from our Director of Research and Evaluation Bronwyn Mauldin about concerns and priorities in LA County audiences as they venture back to live performance and events.

Please take a moment to complete a brief survey about your experience. Your feedback will be used to inform future convenings and programs.
