This workshop webinar includes information about the program, guidelines, eligibility requirements, and tips on submitting strong proposals. This workshop features a one hour Q&A for fiscally sponsored organizations. Directly after this workshop, attendees are also invited to participate in a Group Office Hours Session, which is set to run from 11AM - 11:30AM.

This webinar will cover the basics of completing your Cultural Data Profile (CDP) on the SMU DataArts platform and applying to participating grantmakers. We'll also go over changes made to the CDP to better track your activities through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond, share free tools to analyze your data, and discuss examples of recent research enabled by CDP data. This session is ideal for new users, or anyone looking for a refresher about how to enter your data and create a Funder Report for a grant deadline. (1 hour)

Our final workshop will share stories of LA County artists who have sustained and supported artistic careers through public art. In an open dialogue with a panel of artists, we will ask questions about the challenges and opportunities they have encountered as they sought to build sustainability into their practices. We will draw on the experiences of our community to ask what opportunities we may see for future economic empowerment among LA County artists.
